Yeah VScript doesn't have a way to toggle the subs. The only thing it has is
the SETQUICKSCAN function which is the same thing you are doing now.

I'll look into writing a small door to do this. Until then, the best method to
do what you want is in the VADV-PHP web interface. Just access a topic, then at
the bottom of the screen is the "subscribe" option and you can just uncheck
everything.
